MotionPoint, a leader in technology and services for website translation, localisation and optimisation, today announced the opening of its European headquarters in Madrid, Spain. The new office positions the company for continued growth in the years ahead and expands its reach in Europe.

Headquartered in South Florida and with offices in Madrid and London, MotionPoint enables global organisations to sidestep the expensive and time-consuming tasks historically associated with website translation. Its turn-key solution quickly translates, deploys and operates localised websites that maximise user engagement.

David Nix, chief knowledge officer at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, said, “MotionPoint enables us to quickly and cost-effectively interact online with stakeholders in multiple languages. Translation is a key capability for our digital channel and supports Gavi’s mission of providing access to vaccines for children in the world’s poorest nations. Motionpoint’s new Madrid office ensures a European presence committed to helping us and other European customers reach a global and culturally diverse audience.”

Madrid is home to top European talent, which MotionPoint is enlisting for its expansion efforts. Most Madrid team members hold graduate degrees and are fluent in four languages. MotionPoint's Executive Vice President Craig Witt expects the company's current headcount in Madrid to continue to grow monthly throughout the next year, supporting the company's 2018 growth plans.

"The European market is booming and Madrid is churning out some of the best and brightest professionals in our space," said Witt. "This is going to be a big year for MotionPoint. We're amplifying our commitment to our European customers to ensure they have the support they need."

Along with its 2018 focus on European operations and new business opportunities, MotionPoint will continue to provide website translation, localisation and optimisation services to nearly 300 global brands across a diverse range of industries.
