E-tailers Look To Advertise In Local Languages

 

Online retailers in India are seeing 45-50% of their overall sales coming from non-metro areas where local availability and pricing is weak. This is driving etailers to offer regional language and advertising support.

There are 85 million online users in rural India as of June, according to the Mobile Association of India. With the increase of local language on the internet, ecommerce companies are becoming aware of the huge potential in reaching this audience.
